HOW TO…

All presenting authors (Full papers, highlights, PAIS papers) are expected to attend their session for live Q/A and interaction. Please refer to ECAI2020 full program in order to search for your session.
There is a 15 min time slot for each PAIS/Full paper in the schedule: 10-12 min for playing the prerecorded video of the presentation, followed by 3-5 min live Q/A between the presenting author and the audience, using both chat and videoconferencing. Timing will be strict, and no delays will be allowed.
Presenting authors are requested to enter the session of their presentation in advance, preferable at the beginning. The links to the technical sessions, PAIS and posters digital rooms will be available on Aug 26^th, both on the website (map and full program sections) and the ECAI2020 agenda on Whova.
All technical sessions (full papers and PAIS) and the posters session (highlight papers) will be held at the “Ada Lovelace Hall” (see the Santiago de Compostela map on the website, after logging in).
Entering the digital rooms requires logging in with the credentials that you created during the sign-up (https://digital.ecai2020.eu/sign-up). Detailed instructions on how to access your session are on the HOWTO section of the website.

At the posters digital room both the poster and the prerecorded video for each paper will be accessible.
Interaction with the audience will happen using the Gather.Town technology provided by Underline.io. This technology allows authors and attendants to hold group conversations in parallel, and attendants cand walk in, out, and around those conversations as they would do in a real-life posters’ session (through an avatar).
Interaction between attendants and presenting authors will be similar as in a real poster session. When avatars of presenting authors and attendants get close, an emerging group videoconferencing will emerge, allowing live interaction. See Underline’s instructions for technical details.
