PostLab develops a software platform that aims to disseminate academic software developments on a large scale, to make them readily available to the greatest number of people. Its ambition is to promote the use of software developed in academic research labs, as well as the influence of academic teams and laboratories. Software integration on the platform is based on a process of automatic generation of web interfaces using a knowledge base (an ontology) that models the software’s features. PostLab offers the integration, online publishing and hosting of software on its platform, for a simplified Software as a Service access. Softwares can be used in command line (for coders) and via a graphical interface (for non-coders).
